Pensacola Area Soccer Scholarship (PASS) – Select/Travel

 

First and foremost, scholarships will be awarded on a case by case basis depending upon individual needs and circumstances and monies available.  See the three levels below for Select/Travel Teams.  Note: Select Commissioner/President may modify the scholarship awards as needed.  The amount awarded will still be within the guidelines of the requirements

Experiencing continued hardships for the entire year, but can participate at a decreased rate.

Registration fee waived only, full monthly payment required.  Currently experiencing problems, "just needs a helping hand"

ALL RECIPIANTS WILL BE EXPECTED TO VOLUNTEER TIME:

Individuals who do not qualify for PASS or those who just are experiencing problems making payments on time, are not precluded from working out a payment plan with PFC that may be more suitable to their situation.  There may be emergency instances that come up that will be outside these guidelines. The income level may not matter in these cases but will be detailed in the request form.

 

 

Procedure:

 

1)       Fill out information sheet and submit to Select Commissioner.

2)       Select Commissioner will assess situation and discuss with PFC Vice President.  (Name to be withheld, only Select Commissioner, PFC Vice President to know name.)

3)       Vice President or Select Commissioner will present to Executive Board (withholding names) for approval.

4)       Vice President will forward form to Treasurer for record keeping and will transfer funds from Chris Black Fund and notify Select Record keeper to credit that person’s account accordingly. Treasurer will keep paper work on file, (not open to general knowledge).

5)       If not approved the presenter will make note of reasons and give to Treasurer or record keeping purposes.
